Biblical Authority

We believe only what the Bible teaches because Jesus Christ told us as Christians to continue in His word to be His disciples and know the truth (John 8:31-32). The Bible means what it says and is not up for private interpretation (2 Peter 1:20-21). If there is an interpretation for a scripture, it is somewhere else in the Bible.

The King James Version of the English Bible is the word of God for those of us that speak English. Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic are not used to change what the English says (1 Timothy 6:3-5).

The reason why the King James Version is the word of God for English speakers is because of five reasons:

  1. The translators respected the Holy Ghost and saw the Scripture as God's Word,
  2. The care that was made in translating it,
  3. The text that was used to translate from,
  4. The fact it is a translation, not a transliteration or interpretation,
  5. The fact it was written in proper English.

These five things add up to give us an English Bible that is a complete and perfect translation for English speakers.

The Bible directly states the verse above "All scripture is given by inspiration of God", but in saying that it also implies that there must be one version of the "all scripture" that is inspired by God in order for the rest of the verses to make sense.

It is impossible for one version to say one thing and another version to say another thing and they both be true. The King James Version may be written in Proper English, but if we care enough we will take the time to read it, learn it and study it (2 Timothy 2:15).

If we have one message written in many ways, one being the correct message while the others are open to private interpretation, only the one not open to private interpretation can be the correct one.

The KJV Bible is the correct message. All the others were forged with the purpose of deceiving the reader. They are open to private interpretation to theology, philosophy, religious traditions and more. As a result they are nothing more than High-Fantasy Novels that are called "Bibles" but in fact are not the real deal.

We will show an example between the KJV and NIV versions using the most famous verse in the world, John 3:16:

Reading these two versions of the same verse, to the untrained eye, may appear almost the same. However, those of us that know our Bibles can see that one version has two lies in it. Can you see it? Let's investigate.

The NIV says "his one and only Son", but that's a lie. See Luke 3:38:

Luke 3:38 says Adam was the "son of God" too. So the NIV has lied already because Jesus Christ isn't God's "one and only Son". The KJV is correct because Jesus Christ is God's "only begotten Son". You may brush this off as a technicality, but we assure you, this is on purpose to deceive and push a false doctrine.

Why? You might ask.

Because most religious denominations (and we mean over 99% of them) do not like the word "begotten" here because it makes it hard for them to explain one of their favorite non-Biblical and heretical doctrines, known as the trinity doctrine. They don't like the fact that Jesus Christ was "made of a woman, made under the law" (Galatians 4:4). They want Jesus Christ the man to be the "eternally begotten" and "pre-existent God the Son", instead of who He is, the Son of God (Matthew 16:16) with all of God inside of Him (Colossians 2:9), and He is recognized as God (John 20:28).

The second lie the NIV tells is "whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life". This is dangerously close to what the KJV says, except the KJV says "should", where the NIV says "shall". This is not only extremely deceiving, but it also misleads people, the NIV saying "whoever believes in him shall not perish" leads people to thinking all they need to do is believe. The KJV saying "whosoever believeth in him should not perish" means that if you believe in him.... you shouldn't perish. It's not the same. The NIV has people thinking Jesus said all they have to do is believe in order to inherit eternal life. That is not true because the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the death burial and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) requires you to respond to it with obedience. There is more after the faith that is required.

The verses above show that the people in verse 37 were pricked in their hearts and they had to respond to the gospel that Peter preached. Brother Peter in verse 38 informed them they needed to repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Faith unto (toward) Salvation! Just like Romans 1:16 says!

Then of course, even after becoming a Christian they must do many things, such as continue to live an obedient life of holiness and keep preaching the gospel message of Jesus Christ, among others (see "Salvation - What do Christians do?")

So now you know why we did not make the letters red for the NIV version of John 3:16, because not only can Jesus not lie, but He never said that message that way!

These were only two examples of the deception and dangers behind using other versions of the Bible. As English speakers we must stick to the KJV Bible and follow it alone because it is the word of God for us!
